Job summary

Republic Airways invites students to join its internship program in Carmel as part of the Human Resources division. Interns will shadow departments, participate in professional development workshops, and gain direct exposure to the aviation industry through hands-on projects and tours.

During the internship, you will work onsite at our Carmel headquarters, with up to 40 hours per week and a minimum of 20 hours during spring and fall terms, all while developing strong analytical and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Aviation Management, Operational Analysis/Management, Industrial Management, Engineering, or similar field of study.
• Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Observe Safety department meetings.
• Analyze Safety data.
• Identify trends in data and present findings to senior management.
• Research data to assist in process improvement for interfacing departments.
• Understand company emergency response procedures and assist in improvement of procedures.
• Participate in operational risk assessments.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business group

• Strong analytical skills

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work onsite at our Carmel Headquarters location, unless otherwise directed by hiring manager

• Ability to workup to40hours perweek with a minimum of 20 hours for spring and fall interns

• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
