Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking a Safety Intern to assist the Safety team on a Louisville project. The role involves administrative support, training coordination, and documentation management to ensure site safety compliance.

The candidate should be enrolled in an Associate Degree program in Safety or related field and possess strong MS Office skills to manage reports and training rosters.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Associate Degree in Safety, Construction or related field.
• Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project regulations is a plus.
• MS Office proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint required for safety program management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with entering drug and alcohol testing results.
• Log employment documentation and training rosters in MIC system.
• Prepare DOT Drug and Alcohol files and safety training materials.
• Coordinate safety training, New Hire Orientation, and safety meetings.
• Maintain safety binders, manuals and Excel safety records.
