Job summary

MasTec Industrial, CE&I segment, seeks a Safety Intern to support site safety administration at a Louisville, CO project. You will assist with documentation, training arrangements, and safety meetings while coordinating with the MIC safety team.

The role requires enrolled in an Associate Degree in Safety or related field, strong MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills, and readiness to work up to 50 hours weekly in a dynamic construction setting. Compensation starts at $20+ per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Associate Degree in Safety, Construction or related field.
• Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project regulations.
• Able to participate in toolbox meetings and set a safe example.
• Proficient in MS Office to manage safety program records.

Responsibilities

• Assist with entering drug and alcohol testing results.
• Scan and log employment documents.
• Prepare DOT Drug and Alcohol files.
• Enter training rosters for safety trainings.
• Coordinate and present safety training per MIC/client requirements.
