Job summary

Amazon in Jefferson, GA is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to advance safety programs, lead daily audits, and train associates across our operations. You will partner with site leadership to protect teammates and foster a proactive safety culture while sustaining productivity.

You will conduct risk assessments, investigations, and compliance activities, translate safety data into actionable insights, and help implement innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in an EHS-related field or related experience.
• OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910 knowledge.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in security/personnel matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Deliver safety training to associates and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Protect employees by implementing data-driven safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted safety advisor to leadership and frontline teams.
• Translate safety data into actionable narratives to drive engagement in safety initiatives.
