Job summary

Amazon seeks a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to elevate safety culture across delivery stations and workplaces. You will lead audits, investigations, and risk assessments while delivering effective training and partnering with leaders to embed safety as a core value.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills, with knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910. You will support emergency response and adapt to variable environments as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in EHS-related field or related experience preferred.
• Experience in safety-related role or with Amazon is a plus.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910) and handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Deliver engaging safety training and drive proactive safety culture.
• Advocate for associate wellbeing and build partnerships across the organization.
• Translate safety data into actionable insights and drive safety initiatives.
• Support emergency response and safety at the site, including evaluating hazards.
