Job summary

Barrick Gold Corporation is seeking an Administrative Technician to support the Carlin Safety & Health team in Carlin, NV. The role emphasizes document control, data entry, reporting, and coordination of events.

You will work with MS Office, SAP, IsoMetrix, and other databases to ensure compliance and efficient operations, while coordinating purchasing and records. This on-site position requires strong organization and communication and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills required.
• Experience with SAP, IsoMetrix, Element and other databases preferred.
• Ability to work independently across multiple systems and tasks.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills required.
• Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field preferred.
• One year mining industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain S&H weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance for state and regulatory reporting.
• Support IsoMetrix EHS management system.
• Handle purchasing and vendor payments in line with budgets.
• Data entry, document control, and recordkeeping of H&S information across systems.
• Schedule appointments, meetings, and events; liaison between managers and employees.
• Compose correspondence, edit documents, and transcribe meeting minutes.
• Electronic filing and maintenance of department files and records.
• Prioritize mail and respond appropriately; support H&S initiatives and programs.
• Provide on-call support for S&H personnel as needed.
