Job summary

Responsibilities

• Ensure product safety and quality across duties.
• Promote a safe working environment.
• Adhere to Silgan safety policies to prevent injuries.
• Monitor ware for quality defects and inform supervisor.
• Pack at standard rate.
• Operate a punch.
• Load conveyors and flamers.
• Maintain housekeeping around lines and machines.
• Remove scrap from around the line.
• Grind and pull plastic as needed.
• Make and unitize cartons as assigned.
• Initial and date box labels.
• Make out unit tickets.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Ability to lift 30-40 lb materials.
