Job summary

You will champion safety initiatives, coach and train staff, and drive productivity while controlling costs. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to adapt to change in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate’s Degree in related area or 2+ years of college courses toward a degree.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Champions FedEx Safety Above All culture and initiatives.
• Hires, trains, coaches, evaluates, disciplines staff as needed.
• Directs day-to-day operations and staff scheduling.
• Manage safe and efficient sortation of packages and trailer movement.
• Analyze performance and implement improvement plans for metrics.
• Lead daily meetings and communicate operational updates to staff.
• Develop employee relations and safety programs across the team.
• Handle customer service issues and training for new employees.
