Job summary

EnviroLogix Inc. in Portland, Maine is seeking an experienced EH&S Supervisor to lead safety, compliance, and facilities support across the company’s labs, production areas, and offices.

You will own safety policies, manage maintenance, mentor the Facilities team, and coordinate training while partnering with internal departments to uphold regulatory requirements and a safe, efficient workplace.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Minimum of 5+ years in Health, Safety and/or Facilities roles.
• Safety certifications (CSP, CIH, STS) are a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under pressure.
• Continuous improvement mindset and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce comprehensive safety protocols for labs and facilities.
• Lead safety audits and external safety inspections.
• Oversee maintenance and external contractors for facilities.
• Deliver safety training and ensure proper documentation.
• Mentor the Facilities team and collaborate across departments.
• Support 5S events and safety sustainment.
