Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an HSE Coordinator in Ogden, UT to support occupational safety and environmental compliance in a manufacturing setting.

You will work with employees, supervisors, contractors, and the HSE Manager to identify hazards, maintain compliance, investigate incidents, and drive continuous improvement.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED with college coursework in HSE or related field; 1–3 years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED plus one year of related college coursework.
• 1–3 years of experience in HSE or environmental compliance preferred.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices (JSA/JHA, LOTO, PPE, incident investigation).
• Familiar with environmental compliance programs (hazardous waste, stormwater, air emissions).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; OSHA General Industry certs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and ergonomic evaluations.
• Develop and maintain JSAs, risk assessments, and HSE procedures.
• Support incident investigations and document corrective actions.
• Maintain HSE records and chemical inventories.
• Support environmental compliance activities and regulatory reporting.
• Deliver HSE training and participate in safety meetings.
