Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Georgia is seeking an experienced HSE – Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator to support compliance programs at a large-scale facility.

This hands-on role involves inspections, audits, corrective actions, and regulatory reporting while collaborating with plant leadership, operations, maintenance, engineering, contractors, vendors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and safety, environmental compliance, HSE, EHS, or a related function within a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day health, safety, and environmental compliance activities in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
• Maintain compliance with applicable EPA, Georgia EPD, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Support environmental permitting, renewals, modifications, documentation, and ongoing compliance activities.
• Support air quality and air permitting programs, including monitoring, recordkeeping, and regulatory reporting.
• Manage the facility’s Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), inspections, documentation, and compliance activities.
• Support wastewater and NPDES permit compliance, monitoring, documentation, and reporting.
• Coordinate hazardous waste management activities in accordance with RCRA requirements.
