Job summary

MooreCo Inc., a leader in educational and commercial markets for visual communication products, is seeking an EHS Specialist to join our Temple, TX team. You will oversee OSHA compliance, maintain logs, perform safety audits, and drive corrective actions to sustain a safe work environment.

Preferred candidates have 3+ years in EHS, knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910, and a degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) or related field.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910) and safety compliance.
• Experience maintaining OSHA 300/300A/301 logs and incident reporting.
• Ability to conduct safety inspections and root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and waste management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
• Maintain OSHA 300, 300A, and 301 logs and incident reports.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and audits; recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents and near misses; perform root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate workers' compensation processes and post-accident testing.
• Lead safety trainings and new-hire orientations; refresher training as needed.
• Monitor compliance with safety programs (LOTO, HazCom, PPE, etc.).
• Maintain safety policies, training records, SDS, and chemical inventories.
• Support environmental compliance including waste management and SPCC.
• Foster a positive safety culture; coach employees on safe practices.
• Collaborate with management and vendors on safety and regulatory needs.
• Assist VP of Operations with safety initiatives and audits.
