Job summary

Dave Jones is seeking a Safety Engineer to join a team that treats safety as a core part of who we are, not just a checklist. This role supports the development, administration, and implementation of our safety programs across field and office operations.

You'll work with our Safety Director, safety staff, field personnel, Foremen, Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure everyone on our jobsites goes home the same way they arrived.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Experience with OSHA construction/general industry standards.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct jobsite audits to identify unsafe conditions and verify corrective actions.
• Coordinate safety training and maintain training records.
• Support injury management and return-to-work processes.
• Administer Respiratory Protection Program and PPE selection.
• Assist incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Lead safety meetings and drive safety culture.
