Job summary

Dave Jones, LLC is seeking a Safety Engineer to drive our safety programs across field and office operations. You will partner with site teams to audit, train, and improve safety performance, ensuring workers return home safely every day.

The role spans three levels and emphasizes practical, people-focused safety leadership, incident investigations, and program growth within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field preferred.
• Accredited safety credentials, or a combination of education and relevant experience, will be considered.
• Experience with OSHA construction and general industry standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct jobsite audits, identify unsafe conditions or behaviors, verify corrective actions and ensure compliance for high-risk work activities.
• Partner with Crew Leaders and field personnel to troubleshoot safety issues and build compliant solutions.
• Support injury management and coordinate return-to-work opportunities.
• Coordinate safety training, scheduling, orientation, and training records.
• Administer the Respiratory Protection Program, including fit testing coordination and recordkeeping.
• Maintain SDS inventories and inspect safety equipment, arranging replacements as needed.
• Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action development.
• Provide technical safety support for planning and execution of work activities
• Track Toolbox Talk participation and share performance reporting with departments
• Lead safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture
