Job summary

Rosehill Resources is seeking a Safety Engineer to ensure compliance with state and federal safety regulations, assess their impact on Operations, and work with Operations to implement cost-effective compliance solutions that protect workers and minimize risk.

In addition, you will develop and deliver site safety training, maintain records to demonstrate regulatory compliance, and collaborate with regional safety teams to promote best practices, perform audits, and support regulatory

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or higher level degree in Engineering or related Science is required.
2 years of safety experience required.
Experience representing a company to regulatory agencies is required.

Responsibilities

Interact with site workforce to communicate safety regulations and ensure understanding of requirements.
Develop and maintain cost-effective strategies to comply with new or existing regulations.
Develop and deliver training materials pertaining to safety issues for the site.
Maintain records to demonstrate compliance and support regulatory inspections.
Interact with agency representatives on interpretation and applicability of regulations.
Conduct OSHA compliance audits and safety field audits for the assigned area.
Conduct contractor orientation.
