Job summary

Rosehill Resources is seeking an Environmental Engineer to support compliance with environmental regulations across spill response, reporting, and permitting tasks. You will help ensure that control, monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements are satisfied.

You will work with Engineering and Operations to keep permits current, generate necessary reports, and maintain records. A Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related Science is required.
• Minimum 2 years of environmental engineering or related refinery experience.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing compliance with environmental regulations and permitting projects.
• Ensure spill, upset, emission, and reporting requirements are satisfied per regulations.
• Complete federal, state, and government reporting obligations in a timely manner.
• Maintain records to demonstrate compliance and retain documentation.
• Assist with regulatory permitting tasks as needed.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Operations to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Generate reports and records to support compliance demonstrations.
• Read, interpret company policies and regulatory guidelines; maintain confidentiality.
• Provide effective customer service to internal stakeholders and multi-task to meet deadlines.
• Cross-train to cover department responsibilities and handle emergencies.
