Job summary

Rosehill Resources is seeking a Safety Engineer to understand and apply state and federal safety regulations, assess their impact on Operations, and help implement cost-effective compliance solutions on site in Georgia, USA.

You will work with Regional and other Safety Engineers to develop Best Practices and deliver training, maintain records, and interact with agency inspectors to ensure regulatory compliance across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher level degree in Engineering or related Science is required.
• 2 years of safety experience required.
• Experience representing a company to regulatory agencies is required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply state and federal safety regulations to the site.
• Develop and implement cost-effective compliance procedures.
• Deliver training on safety issues to site employees.
• Maintain records to demonstrate compliance with regulations and inspections.
• Interact with agency inspectors and regulatory representatives as needed.
• Conduct OSHA compliance audits and safety field audits at the site.
• Coordinate with Operations and regional Safety teams on best practices.
