Job summary

Dave Jones is seeking a Safety Engineer to lead safety across field and office operations, ensuring every worker returns home safely. The role spans three levels and emphasizes a humble, hungry, smart mindset and genuine care for people on our jobsites.

You will work with Safety Director and crews to develop, administer, and implement programs, policies, and compliance efforts while advancing continuous improvement and strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in OH&S or related field preferred.
• Accredited safety credentials may be considered.
• Experience with safety programs for field and office operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct jobsite audits and verify corrective actions.
• Partner with crew leaders to resolve safety issues.
• Support injury management and return-to-work processes.
• Coordinate safety training and new employee orientation.
• Administer Respiratory Protection Program responsibilities.
• Maintain SDS inventories and inspect safety equipment.
• Review Safety Surveys and incident reports for trends.
• Assist with incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Provide technical safety support for work activities.
• Contribute to continuous safety program improvement.
• Track Toolbox Talk participation and reporting.
