Job summary

Dave Jones is seeking a Safety Engineer to advance our safety programs across field and office operations. This role spans three levels—Safety Engineer 1, 2, and 3—based on experience, program ownership, and leadership readiness. You will help ensure every person on our jobsites returns home safely.

The position partners with Safety Director, site crews, foremen, and project managers to implement effective safety measures, training, and compliance. A humble, hungry, smart mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred.
• Accredited safety credentials or relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience with safety programs, compliance, and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct jobsite audits, identify unsafe conditions, and verify corrective actions.
• Partner with field personnel to troubleshoot safety issues and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate safety training, orientation, and records for employees.
• Administer Respiratory Protection Program including fit testing and scheduling.
• Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Provide technical safety support for project planning and execution.
• Track toolbox talks and safety meetings; report performance to departments.
