We have an exciting opportunity for a Safety Engineer in Adelanto, CA. Under close supervision, this position is responsible for providing safety engineering in identification and appraisal of loss-producing conditions and practices, and ensuring OSHA compliance and proper recordkeeping;

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene, occupational safety or related technical field.
• Understanding of industrial hygiene and safety principles, and ability to interpret regulations.
• Ability to resolve technical problems and present findings clearly.
• Good writing and communication skills; ability to conduct training for staff.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze accident loss conditions; conduct safety investigations and recommend corrective action.
• Develop and deliver safety training tailored to departments and work areas.
• Assist in safety program development and maintain safety manuals and documentation.
• Investigate injuries and fatalities; ensure compliance with federal and state reporting.
• Ensure compliance with applicable health and safety regulations across operations.
• Maintain a productive, safe work environment and support additional duties as assigned.
