Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is a world leader in remotely piloted aircraft and surveillance systems.

With limited supervision, this position supports engineering and manufacturing as a liaison to expedite the design and development process. Evaluates and resolves complex engineering production problems and acts as an external spokesperson to vendors and subcontractors to ensure delivery dates and objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in business, planning or related discipline with 10+ years planning & scheduling experience.
• Strong understanding of planning and production operation theories and principles.
• Proven leadership, scheduling, and coordination skills to meet milestones.

Responsibilities

• Ensure parts and purchase requisitions are processed through the system in a timely manner.
• Maintain delivery dates by contacting critical subcontractors and vendors.
• Analyze engineering drawings and coordinate across departments for information.
• Coordinate design and development with manufacturing, quality, planning and engineering.
• Advise management on status of work in progress and potential production problems.
• Maintain confidentiality and observe all laws and company policies.
