Job summary

Fres-co System USA, Inc. is seeking a Safety Engineer to support the Safety Department on multiple projects from Provo, Utah. The role focuses on implementing safety programs, auditing site safety systems, and assisting with site-specific safety plans.

Candidate will conduct jobsite inspections, contribute to incident investigations, and coordinate safety trainings with project teams to ensure OSHA compliance and a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Construction Management, or related field or minimum 1 year of project field experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-developed time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work non-routine hours as needed.
• Ability to analyze options and problem solve creatively within company practices.

Responsibilities

• Implement safety programs and manuals on assigned projects.
• Set up, audit, and improve site safety systems.
• Perform jobsite walks, inspections and incident investigations.
• Assist in developing site-specific safety plans and goals.
• Coordinate trainings and pre-construction meetings with safety teams.
