Job summary

Ford Energy in the United States invites an Occupational Health & Safety professional to lead plant safety, implement the Safety Operating System, and guide emergency planning and training.

You will work with cross‑functional leaders on incident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective actions, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Degree or 5+ years of experience required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA standards and the 14 elements of PSM.
• Experience with safety programs and risk assessment in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work with other team members for the implementation of the Company’s SOS and plant‑wide safety processes.
• Lead projects to improve occupational safety programs and provide guidance to engineers.
• Identify hazards, conduct inspections and audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in incident investigations, risk assessment and corrective action development.
• Design training programs to prevent injuries and oversees safety training materials.
• Collaborate with external auditors and cross‑functional leaders on safety initiatives.
