Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to elevate safety culture at our Philadelphia-area facilities. You will lead safety programs, conduct audits, and investigate incidents to prevent injuries while maintaining productivity.

As the safety champion for your site, you will advocate for associates, coach leaders, and translate safety data into actionable improvements. Flexible shifts may include days, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) field OR a Bachelor’s degree in an EHS-related background OR 6 months safety experience at Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional setting.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments with data-driven approaches.
• Deliver engaging safety training to associates to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Champion associate wellbeing and build partnerships with frontline leadership to embed safe practices.
• Assist in emergencies and respond to site incidents to maintain safe operations.
