Dover Food Retail is seeking a Supervisor, Production in Conyers, GA to lead front-line hourly workers and team leads, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production. The role drives standard work, productivity, and inventory control while partnering with cross-functional teams to meet targets.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a manufacturing leadership role, strong communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role in manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership to team leads and front-line hourly production team members.
• Ensure a safe work environment, define expectations, provide resources, coach/teach/train associates, ensure accountability, and provide feedback.
• Develop, implement, and audit daily standard work.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement.
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop/implement corrective action plans.
• Maintain production schedule, meeting both quality and productivity requirements.
• Maintain good inventory control procedures for all raw material that may be required in assignment department(s).
• Partner with supply chain, quality, shipping, and other departments to ensure the team meets production targets safely, on time, and to established quality standards.
• Ensure timely response to operational issues impacting customer expectations and project cycle time performance.
• Be knowledgeable of company policies and engage appropriate resources when required.
• Support, communicate, implement, sustain, and consistently enforce all company policies/procedures.
• Build and sustain good morale and attitudes among all reporting associates.
• Initiate requisitions for open positions and interview and determine best candidate for position.
• Document associate skills and knowledge to create a skills matrix of training needs and accomplishments.
• Capture/analyze data regarding productivity to understand causes of high and low productivity.
• Understand production requirements and direct resources to procure shipment items.
• Communicate decisions with data and documentation.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping in ADP for all direct reports.
• Enforce safety rules and procedures to assure safety of associates, buildings, grounds and machinery.
• Other duties as assigned
