Job summary

Ace Hardware Corporation is seeking a Loss Prevention Officer to monitor safety, security, and compliance across our facility. You will conduct audits, supervise material disposition, and support investigations while ensuring a safe work environment for all team members.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, ability to work varied shifts, and preferred experience in security or loss prevention. Training in CPR/First Aid may be provided.

Qualifications

• Be a safety champion by promoting a safe and productive workplace through your own actions, including the proper use of PPE and safe operation of equipment.
• Experience in security, loss prevention, or law enforcement is preferred (3–5 years).
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain it through company training.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, observes, and supervises employees entering and exiting the building.
• Walks through the facility conducting safety, hazard, and security audits.
• Monitors hazard materials storage and cleans up spills.
• Supervises disposition of damaged items and moves items to safe locations.
• Conducts investigations, inventory counts, and uses CCTV and office equipment.
