Job summary

Ace Hardware is seeking a Loss Prevention Officer to safeguard assets and ensure safety across the facility. Responsibilities include supervising access control, conducting safety and security audits, and guiding staff in loss prevention practices.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and flexibility for early mornings and weekends. CCTV experience and CPR/First Aid certification are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willingness to work non-traditional shifts and hours.
• CPR/First Aid certification or able to obtain.
• Experience in Security, Loss Prevention or Law Enforcement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, observes, and supervises employees entering and exiting the building.
• Walks through the exterior for Safety/Hazard/Security audits.
• Monitors hazard materials storeroom and cleans spills.
• Oversees disposition of damaged items and moves to safe locations.
• Performs general investigations, inventory and cycle counts.
• Reads SOPs, monitors alarms and CCTV.
