Job summary

Prince is seeking a field operations leader to ensure crew safety and coordinate field activities on heavy highway projects. You will translate work requirements into prioritized crew plans, monitor production schedules, and resolve conflicts with other crews and subcontractors.

You will also review competency, prepare reports, and oversee safety policy adherence. The role requires five years in heavy highway construction, strong planning skills, and a valid GA/FL driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in heavy highway construction including grade, slope, drainage.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret project specifications.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling and planning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Clean Georgia or Florida driver’s license.
• Ability to work outdoors in heavy highway traffic environments.

Responsibilities

• Responsible and accountable for the safety of the crews under direction.
• Communicate Prince safety policies to ensure compliance and identify training needs.
• Oversee and coordinate field crews’ activities.
• Assess competency and capability of employees and provide resolutions to issues.
• Follow project plans to meet production goals and adjust schedules as needed.
• Identify scheduling needs and communicate them to appropriate personnel.
• Translate general work requirements into prioritized crew plans.
• Review and adjust workforce activities and task schedules to meet production schedules.
• Identify and report scheduling conflicts with other crews and subcontractors.
• Prepare reports as required by Prince and approve material requisitions.
