Job summary

Prince in Augusta, GA seeks a seasoned Highway Construction Field Supervisor to lead crews on our projects. You will ensure safety, coordinate field activities, read plans, and translate requirements into actionable work plans while monitoring production schedules.

In this role you will manage schedules, resolve conflicts, report progress, and ensure compliance with safety policies. Strong communication, planning, and time‑management skills are essential; valid Georgia driving license required.

Qualifications

• Must have five (5) years in heavy highway construction and knowledge of project scope including grade, slope, drainage.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications for the project.
• Strong scheduling and planning knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to apply problem solving and conflict resolution.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Must possess a clean Georgia driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of crews under direction and communicate Prince safety policies.
• Oversee and coordinate field employees and activities.
• Assess competency and capabilities of employees on the project.
• Resolve crew issues and provide effective resolutions.
• Follow project plans and schedules to meet production goals.
• Translate work requirements into prioritized crew work plans.
• Review and adjust workforce activities and schedules to meet production.
• Identify and report scheduling conflicts with other crews/subcontractors.
• Prepare reports as required by Prince and approve material requisitions.
