Job summary

G & M Services LLC is seeking a Construction Safety Director to lead our safety program across multiple projects and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Qualifications

  • 10+ years of construction safety leadership across commercial/industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regs and risk management practices.
  • Proven ability to influence teams at all levels and lead multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; bilingual a plus.
  • Bachelor’s in Occupational Safety or related field preferred; relevant certifications valued.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and continuously improve the corporate safety program across projects.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and practices.
  • Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments for compliance.
  • Lead investigations of incidents and near misses.

As our Construction Safety Director, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping the safety culture of a rapidly growing construction organization. What You'll Do
  • Lead and continuously improve the company's corporate safety program across multiple construction projects.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with project executives, superintendents, and field teams to promote a proactive safety culture.
  • Analyze incident trends and develop corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences.
  • Lead investigations of incidents, near misses, and safety concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all applicable federal, state, and local safety requirements.
  • Deliver engaging safety training and educational programs for employees and subcontractors.
  • Mentor and develop the safety culture throughout the organization.
  • Represent the company during regulatory inspections, client meetings, and safety audits.
What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of construction safety experience, with leadership responsibilities in commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or heavy construction environments.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety standards, and risk management practices.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence teams at all levels of an organization.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and safety professionals simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills; bilingual in English and Spanish a plus!
  • Professional certifications such as CSP, CHST, ASP, or equivalent and OSHA 500 certification are highly preferred; Advanced Safety Certificate required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field preferred.
