As a member of the senior leadership team, the Safety Director provides strategic oversight for all safety initiatives across the organization, ensuring compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and other regulatory requirements while fostering a safety-first culture. This position partners closely with operations, human resources, and field leadership to develop and implement comprehensive health and safety programs that protect employees, support operational excellence, and reinforce Sargent Corporation's commitment to workplace safety. The successful candidate will be a hands‑on leader who combines regulatory expertise with a practical understanding of heavy construction operations and is willing to travel regularly to support projects and operations throughout Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Virginia, and North Carolina.
