Job summary

Martin Marietta in the Kansas City Region is seeking a Safety Supervisor to work with operations and support staff to promote a positive safety culture across mining sites. You will lead a team of safety support administrators, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate industrial hygiene activities, and ensure timely regulatory submissions to MSHA, OSHA, and FMCSA.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 4+ years of related experience, and a valid US driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 4+ years of related experience in safety or mining environments is desirable.
• Valid US driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Continuously promotes a safe culture empowering employees and leveraging safety values.
• Leads a team of safety support staff to implement safety initiatives.
• Manages project budgets, cost controls, and scheduling updates.
• Coordinates industrial hygiene activities and monitoring programs with TPAs.
• Ensures timely, accurate regulatory submissions (MSHA, OSHA Logs, FMCSA).
