Job summary

Network Connex in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks a TSQ Specialist to support project execution by ensuring safety, training, and quality standards. You will work with operations teams and customers to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

The role requires detail orientation, proactivity, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Fluency in English and Spanish is required; strong MS Office and communication skills are essential.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in the field.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the operations team to support project delivery and compliance.
  • Conduct site observations to identify safety and quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Issue and track Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for project teams.
  • Participate in site walks with customers to ensure alignment with expectations and standards.
  • Verify that all safety documentation —including permits, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and site-specific plans—is completed and executed per customer requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by reporting findings and contributing to lessons learned.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety compliance and project observations.
  • Perform additional TSQ-related duties as assigned.

The TSQ Specialist plays a critical role in supporting project execution by ensuring compliance with safety, training, and quality standards. Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Education And Experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in safety, quality, or training roles within a project-based environment
  • Associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Familiarity with safety documentation processes and customer compliance standards
