Job summary

Nomad Global Communications Solutions is seeking a Safety Coordinator to develop, implement, and manage our safety program at the Libby facility. You will conduct inspections, training, and program reviews under management direction to control hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires coordinating with the Safety Manager and Safety Committee, enforcing safety measures, and improving processes to protect workers across production environments.

Qualifications

• High level of knowledge related to safety and wellbeing in production, manufacturing, and/or construction-related industries through proven OSHA and EPA certifications.
• Ability to apply laws and regulations to work environment to ensure safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 2+ years in a dedicated safety role within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Safety Manager to ensure safety measures and documentation for OSHA compliance.
• Chair the Libby facility Safety Committee.
• Conduct safety inspections and trainings; oversee right-to-know and hygiene programs.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
• Investigate and report accidents to identify causes and prevention measures.
