Job summary

Kilgore Industries, LP, a leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing subcontractor in Texas, is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to grow with the industry leader. The role focuses on planning and overseeing employee safety and ensuring OSHA compliance.

You will implement Kilgore's EHS policies, advise staff on safety topics, conduct risk assessments, prepare incident reports, and collaborate with HR to onboard new hires safely.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years as Safety Coordinator or similar role.
• Working knowledge of Federal OSHA regulations.
• Experience producing Safety Audits, JHA, and incident reports.
• OSHA 510 certification is a plus.
• Outreach Trainer (OSHA 500) is a plus.
• First Aid/CPR trainer or certificate.
• Policy writing for health and safety.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement Kilgore EHS policies and programs.
• Advise and lead employees on safety topics.
• Review existing safety policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all applicable rules and regulations.
• Coordinate safety onboarding with HR.
• Conduct risk assessments.
• Assist Safety Director with accident/violation reports and root-cause analysis.
