Job summary

Parker is seeking a Safety Coordinator at our Nebraska plant to support the site EHS team and help drive zero-incident performance under Parker’s WIN Strategy. You will champion safety programs, maintain records, assist with onboarding, and provide training across all shifts while collaborating with value stream leaders and plant management.

Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving are essential; OSHA 10/30 is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• OSHA 10/30 hour, or other safety certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teambuilding skills.
• Action oriented and able to multi-task.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency with Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety programs to promote a safety-first culture.
• Assist in developing and enforcing safety policies and checklists.
• Maintain record keeping for safety programs.
• Communicate safety progress with plant leadership.
• Follow up on safety indicators and incident reports.
• Assist with onboarding of new hires.
• Conduct workplace safety training.
• Coach team members and provide feedback on safety.
• Lead or assist in incident investigations and safety audits.
• Participate in Safety Star Point Team meetings and activities.
• Engage in EHS-related training for growth.
• Maintain flexibility to cover all shifts as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
