Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings in Michigan is hiring a Driver Development Safety Coordinator to join a full-time on-site team. This role supports driver onboarding, safety programs, and coordination with terminals to ensure timely placements and compliant practices.

The position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and a proactive, professional demeanor. Candidates should have a high school diploma and experience with Microsoft Office; prior office work is preferred, with growth

• Excellent attendance and the ability to work the same shift each day.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn company specific systems.
• Prior office experience is preferred.
• Superior communication skills including listening, speaking, reading, writing.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Upbeat personality/positive outlook.
• High school diploma required, secondary education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and coordinate with terminals to ensure timely placement of new drivers.
• Collect, organize, track, file and review program paperwork.
• Organize and present ppw for graduation.
• Evaluate driver logs and ELD-quick review.
• Track/Submit mentor pay.
• Additional duties as required.

Driver Development Safety Coordinator

This position is full time, onsite Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm
