Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings in Michigan is seeking a Driver Development Safety Coordinator to support our driver development programs and safety initiatives. This full-time onsite role coordinates with terminals to ensure timely placement of new drivers and maintains professional standards across operations.

Qualifications

• Consistent attendance and ability to work the same shift every day.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn company specific systems.
• Prior office experience is preferred.
• Superior communication skills including listening, speaking, reading, writing.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Upbeat personality/positive outlook.
• High school diploma required, secondary education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and coordinate with terminals to ensure timely placement of new drivers.
• Collect, organize, track, file and review program paperwork.
• Organize and present ppw for graduation.
• Evaluate driver logs and ELD-quick review.
• Track/Submit mentor pay.
• Additional duties as required.

Driver Development Safety Coordinator

Universal Logistics Holdings is a full-service provider of customized transportation and logistics solutions. This position is full time, onsite Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm
