If you thrive in environments where you are managing the safety processes for a manufacturing facility, our Safety Coordinator role might be the perfect fit for you!Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Perform documented weekly inspections to maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of all work areas, employees, machinery, and safety equipment.* Evaluate all onsite processes for potential hazards by completing Job Hazard Analysis and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Hazards Assessments.* Implement site specific hazard control and mitigation methods, procedures, and programs.* Coordinate and conduct any new and reoccurring required safety training for all shifts and departments for all employees and contractors.* Maintain safety training records and database, certifications, incident reports, and OSHA logs.* Implement and lead the monthly Safety Committee meetings.* Ensure the company’s Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and OSHA requirements are followed by all employees and contractors, such as wearing the required PPEs, Proper LOTO, Confined Space and Hot work permits are executed.* Ensure OSHA, state, and local regulatory and statutory requirements are met.* Assist with safety related regulatory audits and inspections.* Assist supervisors with safety related incident investigations.
