Haydon is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee safety compliance at project sites in Irving, Texas. The successful candidate will assess risks, educate teams, and conduct safety audits to ensure adherence to OSHA standards.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and emphasizes strong judgment and communication skills. The position involves frequent site visits and collaboration with project management teams to develop safety solutions.
The Safety Manager ensures that all Haydon job sites remain focused on completing projects in a safe manner.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor's degree: or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and safety programs. Thorough understanding of construction execution and risk. This position is expected to be self‑starting and disciplined in managing deliverables. This position requires working with minimal supervision.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This position drives on behalf of the company.
