Haydon is seeking a Safety Coordinator to manage safety processes at our manufacturing facility in Stow, Ohio. You will conduct inspections, assess hazards, implement controls, and lead safety training across shifts to protect employees and contractors.

Ideal candidates have at least an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field, 2 years of safety experience, and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency. Proficiency with MS Office is required; OSHA 30 certification is preferred.

Qualificações

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Safety preferred.
• Safety related certifications (First Aid Trainer, Forklift Trainer, OSHA 30 within the last 2 years) preferred.
• Flexibility with work schedule.
• Computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships and interface with cross functional teams.
• Bilingual Required: Proficient understanding of written and verbal English/Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Perform documented weekly inspections to maintain safety and cleanliness of work areas.
• Evaluate onsite processes for hazards using Job Hazard Analysis and PPE assessments.
• Implement site-specific hazard controls and programs.
• Coordinate and conduct safety training for all shifts and departments.
• Maintain safety training records, incident reports, and OSHA logs.
• Lead monthly Safety Committee meetings.
• Ensure OSHA requirements are met by employees and contractors.
• Assist with safety audits and incident investigations.
• Collaborate with People Operations and onsite management on incidents.
• Lead emergency drills and liaise with site management on safety communications.
• Prepare monthly safety statistics and reports for the EHS Director.
