Job summary

Lead- LMC is hiring a Construction Safety Coordinator for Franklin Furnace, OH. You will support the Safety Manager with program execution, field supervision, training, and safety administration on active construction sites.

The role requires OSHA 30, first aid, CPR, and background checks and may involve bilingual Spanish/English work. Responsibilities include site inspections, incident investigations, weekly toolbox talks, and coordination with project teams, plus equipment checks and safety

Qualifications

• Must have OSHA 30 certification.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Narcon, Bloodborne pathogens, and AED training.
• Emergency procedures training is required.
• OSHA 510 is preferred.
• NFPA 70E and LOTO are preferred.
• Must pass national background check and drug test.
• Must have valid Driver's License.
• Spanish and English fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform jobsite inspections.
• Investigate injuries and incidents and file reports.
• Conduct weekly toolbox safety meetings with attendance records.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Contractors.
• Perform equipment inspections.
• Provide first aid and manage bloodborne pathogens response.
• Lead Safety Representative meetings and participate in disciplinary actions.
• Take on additional duties as needed.

This person will be responsible for assisting the Safety Manager with safety program execution, field supervision, training, safety administration, case/care management, coordination, etc.

Requirements:

• OSHA 30
• Current First Aid, CPR, Narcon, Bloodborn pathogens, and AED training
• Emergency procedures training
• OSHA 510 ( preferred)
• NFPA 70E and LOTO ( preferred)
• Must pass national background check
• Must pass Drug Test
• Must have valid Drivers License
• Speak fluent Spanish and English (Preferred)

Job duties:

• Jobsite inspections

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to hear, and speak clearly with professional standard grammar.
• Must be able to walk, stand, sit, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, reach overhead, push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 lbs., must have dexterity of fingers (or mechanical substitutions).
