Jayco Talent is seeking a Safety Coordinator for active electrical construction projects in Texas. This boots-on-the-ground role protects crews, improves processes, and keeps projects on track from kickoff through closeout.

You’ll lead safety inspections, enforce policies, and work with foremen and superintendents to ensure OSHA compliance on busy sites. Join a hands-on team dedicated to doing things safely and correctly.

Competenze

• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• 4+ years of commercial electrical construction experience.
• Experience conducting on-site safety inspections.
• Experience enforcing safety policies and procedures.
• Experience documenting incidents, violations, and OSHA records.
• Ability to run or assist with safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Experience supporting accident investigations.
• Familiarity with PPE, fall protection, lockout/tagout, and electrical hazard controls.

SAFETY COORDINATOR (Electrical Construction)

We are looking for a Safety Coordinator who thrives in the field, knows electrical construction, and wants to play a hands‑on role in protecting crews, improving processes, and keeping projects running smoothly from day one to closeout.

This isn’t a desk job. This isn’t a corporate safety role buried in paperwork. This is boots‑on‑the‑ground, real‑world safety leadership on active electrical construction projects.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll be the safety heartbeat of your assigned project - from kickoff to final punch list.

• Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections
• Enforce company safety policies (and coach people the right way)
• Support foremen and supers with OSHA compliance
• Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks
• Assist with accident investigations and workers’ comp documentation
• Keep clean, accurate safety records
• Help update safety policies and training materials
• Communicate weekly with the Safety Director
• Be the person everyone trusts when it comes to doing things safely and correctly

You’ll likely have one primary project at a time, with occasional overlap as one winds down and another ramps up.

Qualifications:

• OSHA 30 (required)
• 4 + years of commercial electrical construction experience
• Experience conducting jobsite safety inspections
• Experience enforcing safety policies and procedures
• Comfort documenting incidents, violations, and OSHA recordkeeping
• Ability to run or assist with safety meetings / toolbox talks
