Job Summary

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for safety, on-the-job training, and quality activities at the station, aiming to reduce employee injuries, aircraft, and equipment damages. The Safety Coordinator also serves as a subject matter expert on processes, systems, and procedures as defined by the Director of Safety/Training.

The expected pay rate is $22-24/hr. Full-time employees are offered health and wellness benefits, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays.

Your Responsibilities

1. Guide safety procedures for fueling equipment and other company vehicles within aircraft gate parking or restricted visibility areas.
2. Prepare aircraft with fueling equipment such as ladders or stands.
3. Support the removal of fueling equipment as needed.
4. Assist fueling operations with aircraft fueling and equipment removal.
5. Provide support with materials like fuel tickets and electronic equipment to fueling staff upon request.
6. Transport fueling staff using company vehicles.
7. Operate company support vehicles following safety policies and procedures.
8. Obey all airport, customer, and company driving regulations.

Your Profile

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid New York State Driver's License.
3. Effective communication skills with all management levels.
4. Ability to work in teams with minimal supervision.
5. Flexible schedule including events, weekends, and holidays.
6. Ability to work under pressure.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
