Your Next Opportunity

The Safety Coordinator is an entry-level safety professional responsible for assisting in implementing job site safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. This role reports to a Safety Manager or Senior Safety Manager.

What You'll Do
  1. Conduct regular walk-through inspections of construction sites, spending up to 80% of your time in the field interacting with crews.
  2. Identify, document, and recommend resolutions for hazardous or potentially hazardous conditions, ensuring corrections are made.
  3. Participate in pre-task planning and safety meetings.
  4. Assist in investigating accidents and incidents.
  5. Compile data, photographs, and prepare reports following program procedures and regulations.
  6. Issue entry permits such as confined space permits.
  7. Assist in emergency rescues and maintaining fire protection and grounding systems.
  8. Conduct awareness training and new hire orientations.
What You'll Need to Be Successful
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic devices for safety audits and communication.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and a team player.
  • Professional interaction with all levels of staff, vendors, and clients.
What You Bring to Us
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • OSHA 30 Construction Certification.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • 0-1 year of safety construction experience or relevant training/education.
Travel

Up to 100% travel required.

Working Conditions
  • Varied environments including indoor offices and outdoor construction sites.
  • Environmental conditions will vary; noise levels depend on location.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
