APRES Management Inc in Missouri City, TX is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our field operations. The role focuses on conducting job-site safety inspections, supporting training efforts, maintaining documentation, and enforcing OSHA and company safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have 1–5 years of construction safety experience, OSHA 30 certification, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities, with the flexibility to travel to multiple job sites as needed.

Competenze

• Construction safety experience (1–5 years)
• OSHA 30 certification required or ability to obtain
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and travel to multiple job sites

Safety Coordinator

Job Description:

Job Summary

The Safety Coordinator will conduct job-site safety inspections for all Millis companies, support training efforts, manage documentation, and help enforce OSHA and company safety standards. This is a field-focused role that reports to the Director of Safety, and works directly with superintendents, subcontractors, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine job-site safety inspections and audits
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 1926, state, and company safety requirements
• Maintain accurate safety logs, inspection reports, and incident documentation
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
• Monitor subcontractor safety performance and PPE compliance
• Support development of site-specific safety plans, JHAs, and safety procedures as needed
• Will be taking train the trainer courses to assist in safety training

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of construction safety experience (commercial construction preferred, not required)
• OSHA 30 certification required or ability to obtain
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Ability to work independently and travel to multiple job sites
• Travel required 1-2 times per month, 1-3 days at a time.
