Job summary

Sterling Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Safety Lead to manage on-site safety programs, enforce rules, and coordinate with site teams on hazard analyses. The role emphasizes proactive safety culture, inspections, and rigorous documentation.

You will train staff (OSHA 10/30, HAZWOPER), conduct audits, and report to the Division Safety Manager on a regular basis. Travel to regional jobsites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in OH&S or related field.
• 1+ year construction health & safety experience (internships count).
• Solid understanding of OSHA, federal, and state safety regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Spanish fluency (read, write and speak) is a strong plus.
