Job summary

SiteWORX is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our Lebanon, Ohio team. You will support safety inspections, trainings, and compliance programs across site development and underground utility projects.

Ideal candidates will have a passion for safety in construction, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple training and reporting tasks while promoting a positive safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safety inspections and safety training.

Job description

SiteWORX is a Total Site Development Company located in Lebanon, Ohio. We specialize in mass excavation and underground utilities for large residential, commercial and public projects. Due to consistent and continued growth we need to add a Safety Coordinator to our team!

As the Safety Coordinator you will be an important member of the Safety team. This role will assist with safety inspections, safety training and provide compliance support.

What You Will Be Doing

• Contribute to a safe, secure and healthy work environment. Safety is the most important thing we do!
• Assist with performing regular job-site inspections.
• Assist with the planning and execution of all safety training programs.
• Perform new hire safety training as needed.
• Perform OSHA and MSHA safety training as needed.
• Assist with utility locates before excavation.
• Assist with maintaining inventory of PPE.
• Communicate with management and field personnel regarding safety issues/findings.
• Compile and maintain training reports.
• Compile and maintain safety data.
• Assist with the development of policies and procedures.
• Promote a positive culture of safety!

Preferred Experience

• 2-5 years’ experience within a Safety professional role
• 2-5 years’ experience within Site Development / Civil Construction / Underground Utilities / Excavation field
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional or similar are preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA 1926 Construction Standards
• Associate degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related preferred or equivalent
• OSHA 510 & OSHA 500 a plus
