SiteWORX in Lebanon, Ohio is seeking an Estimator to identify new project opportunities, perform takeoffs, and develop compelling bids. The role emphasizes selling the value of SiteWORX and closing bids through strong customer relationships and clear communication.

You will manage bid documents, perform quantity takeoffs, and use estimating software to prepare accurate bids for review by management. A construction background and sales mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction industry and bidding processes.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication and customer service.
• Ability to manage a large workload and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify & Research Potential New Customers & Projects.
• Develop & Maintain Customer Relationships.
• Receive and Organize Bid Documents.
• Thorough Examination of Bid Documents & Clear Understanding of Scope of Work.
• Send and follow up RFIs and develop Customer Relationships through bidding.
• Perform Accurate Quantity Takeoff.
• Input and develop thorough bids in company estimating software.
• Review & Analyze Subcontractor & Vendor quotes for scope alignment.
• Contribute to value engineering of bids.
• Review bid with company management and submit proposals in a timely manner.
• Follow up and sell projects after bid submission.
• Maintain organized project files digitally.

SiteWORX is an award-winning Total Site Development Company located in Lebanon, Ohio. We specialize in underground utilities, mass excavation and concrete. Due to consistent and continued growth we need to add an Estimator to our team!

As a Estimator you will be responsible for identifying and seeking out new project opportunities. Another key aspect of this role will be completing takeoffs and submitting accurate and compelling bids. As a Estimator, you will be expected to possess exceptional customer service and sales skills to successfully sell and close bids. This will involve presenting our company's value proposition and highlighting our strengths. Your ability to build relationships, effectively communicate our value and negotiate agreements will be instrumental in securing projects and driving business growth.

What you will be doing

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the Construction Industry.
• Associate degree in construction management
• Proficient at reading blueprints
• Successful track record of winning bids.
• Understanding of sales, estimating, scheduling, project buyout
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  
• Experience in performance of Earthwork Takeoffs
• Experience with estimating and takeoff software.
