Job summary

Moss Utilities, based in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support field safety initiatives across the DFW Metroplex. This role promotes our Safety Always culture and helps ensure safe jobsite environments on all projects.

You will assist with safety programs, train personnel, conduct site visits, and participate in investigations. A background in construction safety and knowledge of OSHA standards are preferred; English/Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction safety or a related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with field teams and leadership.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing company safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct routine job-site visits to monitor safety compliance and identify potential hazards.
• Support incident investigations, documentation, and follow-up corrective actions.
• Work with field supervisors to promote safe work practices and reinforce safety expectations.
• Assist with safety training, orientations, and maintaining safety documentation.
• Help ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety guidelines.
• Participate in safety meetings, audits, and inspections.

Safety Coordinator

Position Summary

The Safety Coordinator supports Moss Utilities' safety operations by assisting with field safety initiatives, promoting our "Safety Always" culture, and helping ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards.
